## Your integration roadmap
Start at Stage 1, or skip to the task you need. Times are estimates after your runtime and email are available; they are not completion guarantees.

1. [Stage 1: Understand the idea](/docs/v1/integration-guide/understand) — 5 minutes · beginner.
2. [Stage 2: Set up your Sandbox](/docs/v1/integration-guide/sandbox) — 10 minutes · beginner.
3. [Stage 3: Create your product and plan](/docs/v1/integration-guide/model) — 10 minutes · beginner.
4. [Stage 4: Create a test license](/docs/v1/integration-guide/license-and-credentials) — 5 minutes · beginner.
5. [Stage 5: Choose your language and app type](/docs/v1/integration-guide/choose) — 3 minutes · beginner.
6. [Stage 6: Install and configure](/docs/v1/integration-guide/install) — 10 minutes · beginner.
7. [Stage 7: Activate your first license](/docs/v1/integration-guide/activate) — 5 minutes · beginner.
8. [Stage 8: Validate when your app starts](/docs/v1/integration-guide/validate) — 10 minutes · intermediate.
9. [Stage 9: Check the signed decision](/docs/v1/integration-guide/signatures) — 10 minutes · intermediate.
10. [Stage 10: Handle errors and offline use](/docs/v1/integration-guide/real-world) — 15 minutes · intermediate.
11. [Stage 11: Protect tokens and identity](/docs/v1/integration-guide/storage) — 15 minutes · intermediate.
12. [Stage 12: Deliver licenses to customers](/docs/v1/integration-guide/deliver) — 15 minutes · beginner.
13. [Stage 13: Test the complete lifecycle](/docs/v1/integration-guide/test) — 20 minutes · intermediate.
14. [Stage 14: Go live safely](/docs/v1/integration-guide/go-live) — 15 minutes · intermediate.

## What you will build
Your app activates a customer key, validates signed access before protected work and handles [device](/docs/v1/start/glossary#device) changes and failures. You can issue keys manually or connect a verified sales workflow.

Choose Desktop app, Web / SaaS backend, CLI tool, Plugin / extension, or manual issuance. Select your language at [Choose your path](/docs/v1/start/choose-your-path). The guide supports four official SDKs and ten REST client routes.

## Choose a support level
Python, JavaScript/Node.js, PHP and C# use official source SDKs. Ten other languages have REST client projects, not [official SDKs](/docs/v1/start/glossary#official-sdk). A REST transport response alone must not grant access.

## Before you go live
Runtime, signature/canonicalization and storage limitations must be resolved for your real payloads. [Current integration limitations](/docs/v1/integration-notes) are part of the launch gate, not optional reading after release.
